Survey 2023: Progress and Pain

thirteen

CANFib conducted a large scale survey in late 2023 that encompassed the daily lives lead by Uterine Fibroids Patients as well as how the condition affects work and family. And while we found a lot of new and encouraging data, there was also pictures painted of pain, endurance and depression.

Because CANFib conducts Mini Surveys regularly, we were able to look back at comparative data as well; helping view progress as well as gauge potential futures.

One area of concern that remains steady is the pain and heavy bleeding associated with patients suffering harsher symptoms of Uterine Fibroids. With 78% of responding women indicating dealing with Uterine Fibroids for 9+ years, including pain and excessive bleeding during those years transforms some of a woman's best years into putting out physical fires day-in-day-out.
